Join us at the Flag House for Mary’s 250th birthday! Born on February 12th, 1776, Mary was just five months old when our nation declared independence from Great Britain. Now, as the country prepares for the 250th in July, the Flag House prepares to celebrate Mary Pickersgill with a full day of activities, presentations, and (most importantly) cake!
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 10am-12pm: presentations on Mary Pickersgill, the Impartial Female Humane Society, and the Battle at Fort McHenry
- 12-1pm: lunch
- 1-2:30pm: historical dancing
- 2:30-3pm: cake and celebrations!
Tickets are $20/person and can be reserved online here, or by scanning the QR code below.
Parking is available at the parking garage across the street and around the museum block.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
